What is Franklin Solar Jam?

Franklin Solar Jam is a music festival on over 80 acres located at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Franklin Indiana. the festival was put together to celebrate the once in a lifetime chance to witness a total eclipse in the best place in the world to view it! Like new years, we will celebrate till the countdown of the eclipse! It features a lineup of top-notch musicians and artists from different genres. The city will be crowded with visitors from all over the united states. Franklin Solar Jam is a family friendly event in a private setting away from the crowds!

When is Franklin Solar Jam?

Franklin Solar Jam is Monday, April 8th 2024. Gates open at 8 am. Festival goes until 9 pm. the eclipse is predicted to achieve full totality around 3 pm.

Will there be food and beverages available?

Yes! The Franklin Solar Jam will feature some of the best local cuisine food trucks and portable kitchens throughout the festival.

Can I really bring my lawn chair and picnic gear for my family if I buy a Main Floor Ticket?

Yes! The Franklin Solar Jam Main Floor Ticket allows you to bring your own lawn chair to the concert! Bring all the things you would usually bring to an outdoor concert at the park! Come camp out on the main floor, enjoy all the music, food and beverage trucks along with the family fun center! Close to you are also the restrooms! Enjoy your own private space away from the crowds to enjoy the eclipse with your family!

Is RV Parking Available?

Unfortunately the fairgrounds RV parking is already SOLD OUT for this event. Feel free to call the fairgrounds for any alternatives or suggestions. The Franklin Solar Jam does not handle booking or parking for RV visitors.

How much are kids tickets?

Kids 5 and under are free to all who purchase a Grandstands, Main floor, or VIP ticket.

Kids over the age of 5 will be charged full ticket price of choice.
